911 - Message Switch & State Line Down DCI
CAD – State
Line “Down”
1. Launch VMWare vSphere
client
2. Search for Server
= is01s159
3. Right click >
Open Console
4. Use LastPass to
locate password (search for server name and/or OSSI Vendor Account)
5. Type in the
password and hit enter
6. If SMS (Switch
Management System) is not running, launch application and log in with your
credentials.
7. Click on “Line
Status” and then Right-click on State > Line Up

Line “Reconnecting”
1. Launch VMWare vSphere
client
2. Search for Server
= is01s159
3. Right click >
Open Console
4. Use LastPass to
locate password (search for server name and/or OSSI)
5. Type in the password
and hit enter
6. Click on “Line
Status” and then Right-click on State > Line Down
7. Confirm Line Down
status
8. Now bring the
line back up by doing a Right-click on State > Line Up
9. Confirm Line Up
status:
10. Confirm connectivity by going to a command prompt on
the ec07s056 server and run:
· netstat -n -a |
find /i “199.90 ”
11. Now from your local machine, use PuTTY to Telnet to “is-dci-pix”
or IP 10.202.254.202
12. Use these commands to reboot “is-dci-pix” (see
LastPass for login credentials)
