How to Manage Your Quarantine Folder in Outlook
Problem: A user was receiving emails telling them that they had items sitting in their quarantine folder in Outlook. They didn't know how to navigate the folder or delete items. Some items wouldn't let them delete them.
Solution: The support agent explained that the quarantine folder catches spam and potential threats before they reach the user's inbox. To manage items, the user can click the checkbox next to an item and click "Request Release" to have legitimate emails sent to the inbox. For items that can't be deleted, they will auto-delete after 30 days. The user can also bookmark the quarantine folder page to periodically check it.
